Health Advocates is running a variety of special in person/virtual events in August 2021.

Monday, August 2nd at 12:00pm: Central Park Conservancy Field Trip
Join us for a guided tour by the head curator of Central Park Conservancy. Meet at 105th and 5th Avenue. Call the office to sign up as there is a ten-person limit. The tour will have headphones for hearing assistance and wheelchair access.
Tuesday, August 3rd at 4:00pm: Slip and Fall Workshop
A group of community partners are hosting a slip and fall workshop in Darlington Hall at Church of the Heavenly Rest (2 East 90th Street). Speakers include injury prevention coordinator at Well Cornell Medical Center and a licensed personal trainer.
Thursday, August 5th at 3:00pm: Zoom Session on Whitney Tour

Thursday, August 12th at 11:30am: Little Island
Join us outside the South Bridge Entrance at Little Island Pier55 in Hudson River Park @ West 13th Street. We will walk in together to hear a music performance in the park. Call the office to let us know if you would like to attend.
Thursday, August 12th at 3:00pm: Zoom Session on Google Calendar with Danielle

Monday, August 16th at 3:00pm: Healthy Foot Session

Thursday, August 19th at 3:00pm: Nutrition with Viktoryia

Tuesday, August 24th at 10:00am – 4:00pm: Rockaway Beach Trip
We will be taking a trip via public transport to the Rockaway Beach in Queens. Please call the office if you’re interested in attending and Danielle will give transportation instructions. Please pack your own lunch or bring money to purchase food at the beach.
