How to Volunteer

Health Advocates engages high school and adult volunteers in a variety of roles such as:

  • Weekly volunteering at wellness classes to collect attendance

  • Providing technology help to participants

  • Assisting with fundraising and other community special events

  • Leading cultural outings

  • Assisting with administrative tasks

  • Providing pro-bono support for marketing, photography, graphic design, survey research and other projects

  • Leading educational seminars and teaching one-time or weekly classes

Volunteers may choose to get involved on a one-time, occasional or regular basis. There are opportunities suitable for volunteers of varied ages and with different skills.

All volunteers will receive orientation to the organization and clear guidance for their tasks.
