Health Advocates for Older People Welcomes the Junior League’s CHEF Committee
During select Saturday programming, Health Advocates for Older People welcomes the Junior League’s CHEF committee to present informative and engaging presentations on a variety of topics. The CHEF (Cooking and Health Education for Families) committee empowers folks to make life-long healthy choices through preventative health and wellness education while placing an emphasis on planning, collaboration, and fun. In December, members learned how nutrition, dental and doctor visits, and lifestyle changes bone health and are preventative measures against osteoporosis. Earlier in January, members learned about different types and causes of hearing loss.
Start your 2025 with a focus on health and wellness, and join Health Advocates and the Junior League’s CHEF Committee for a presentation. This winter, you can learn about “Interacting with Medical Staff,” “Pain Management,” “Seniors: Friendships & Relationships,” and much more. The full schedule of presentations are announced via our monthly calendars and regular emails.
